First post on Substack since 2021. Whew. Itās been a long minute.
Iāll be exploring this platform more as I reimagine what sharing and creating sustainably means to me. At the end of this lengthy post, Iāve included a mini breakdown of whatās included in the various subscription tiers.

Iām in this space once again, where Iām feeling stretched in the middle between a world that once felt so familiar to another thatās brimmed with affirming possibilities and intriguing uncertainties. The last four years have showed many of us that the ways of being we were groomed to believe was ānormalā is an illusion of smoke and mirrors.
Over the past three weeks, Iāve been operating on autopilot to show up for the roles and responsibilities I've committed to while also making space where I can give it all up and let things be. Even if itās just for a moment of feeling free as I continue to process some heavy grief and unnerving mystery.
Also, Iāve been having this horrid cough which Iāll finally see a Doctor for tomorrow. And navigating the healthcare industry is wrought with non-affirming experiences which Iāll share more in a future post.
Themes of anger and resentment along with compassion and understanding have been ruling my emotional sphere as of late.
š¦ Grief takes many emotional forms. Often it shows up as deep sadness while other times it comes through as raging anger. It can even transmute into joyful-tearful celebration.
These emotions settle in different ways energetically and emotionally in our bodies and for me, itās been manifesting in my subconscious as a mix of all the above.
Earlier today, in divine time, a potent post came through the IG timeline from Jonathan Louis Dent. A father, writer, professor, astrologer, numerologer, and overall dope human being. Someone whom Iāve never met IRL but feels like I have energetically.Ā

Thatās been life for the past four years too. The magic of the internet connecting many of us together across time zones in ways that feel so familiar and familial.
In the post, Jonathan goes into detail about how irritation, anger, and restlessness are themes many of us are feeling with the upcoming Super Full Moon in Aries along with the planetary transits occurring. He shares that one way to navigate these supercharged feelings is to work with the element of fire. To sit with and write down our reflections and what we want to release while extending gratitude to the Moon for aiding us in this work. Afterwards, the intention is to burn what we wrote, preferably under the light of the Full Moon.
When I think of fire, I think of the dissolution, surrendering, and letting go that gives way to new beginnings, new life, and new experiences. I think of the necessary release from the outdated and dysregulated ways weāve been indoctrinated to exist in modern day society. I think of the ways weāve been coerced to believe that the only choices we have are the binary options the status quo presents us with.
The concepts of āearning an hourly wageā and the ācost of livingā are really manipulative when you think about it. Especially and specifically in an exploitative society, as it restricts how we get to explore our creativity. Ā
Overtime our perspective of what it means to be alive and well becomes skewed towards how much we can obtain, acquire, and hoard. Leaving us with either/or choices to fend for ourselves and further disconnecting us from the tapestry of our inherent divinity and interconnectedness.
š„ Itās through the fire of creativity where we can break free from the rigidity of our socially constructed reality. Because art transcends constructs.
Which is why the arts are one of the first programs to be defunded and dissolved in public institutions and why itās also one of the first programs brought in to revitalize dwindling sectors of the economy.Ā
You see, the status quo only favors what it can forcibly control. So when weāre in flow with our inherent creative gifts, the possibilities of our human expression are endless and boundless.
As I continue to feel out how I want to show up and experience the x amount of years I have left in this timeline, Iām constantly reminded of the gift of being present in each moment. Where not everything is so serious, painful, and heartbreaking. Where joy, love, and new beginnings are simultaneously emerging to light new pathways of this human experience.
The here and now is where we collectively exist and itās the time and space where we get to choose how we express ourselves and connect with each other.Ā
When we zoom out into the grandness of the universe, we understand that all of this, you, me, and everything in between, is happening in a blip of a second. And that it all had to occur in the specific way and order that it did to allow us to be where and who we are in this very moment.
So, thank you Sun, Jupiter, Saturn and all the planets, galaxies, and energetic spheres of light that collaborated in the meticulous ways that they did.
The universe is straight up poetic.
Anywho, thatās just some of the thoughts ruminating in my mind when Iām plugging away during my 9-5.
